RESOLVE promotes reproductive health

In the Midwest we are fortunate to have open spaces, kind people and weather that keeps the riff raff out. As well as these typically thought of Midwestern terms we also have the most active region of RESOLVE.

RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, established in 1974, is a non-profit organization with the only established, nationwide network mandated to promote reproductive health and to ensure equal access to all family building options for men and women experiencing infertility or other reproductive disorders.

March is always a great month in that it hosts the WCHA Final 5 and the Midwest RESOLVE Family Building Conference. Fertility issues can be difficult to face but with the support of friends in RESOLVE this can be made much easier. This Family Building Conference brings many local professions to one place to provide education on items including adoption, donor semen, financial considerations, IVF, inseminations and andrology.

This year was a special year for me since I had the opportunity to speak to a wonderful women who was conceived through the use of donor semen. I get to speak to a few donor conceived individuals a year but I enjoyed meeting this women face to face. RESOLVE also has peer and professionally lead support groups on third party reproduction.
